About Us

MyURL Web Services was established in September 2005 as a part-time, entry level, web development provider located in Wellington, NZ. Many developments later, in August 2008, MyURL became part of Value Websites Limited - see right sidebar - who are resellers of the Woogloo range of products and services.

In the process, MyURL has now become a Value Websites' Portal and ocuses on promoting web services from (sub) domain name acquisition through imagery & text content to a range of web marketing services. Website development issues including software, hosting, design & deployment are now handled by Value Websites' main website: www.valuewebsites.co.nz

MyURL Web Services and Value Websites are owned by Terry & Margaret Alve and managed by Terry who works closely with the Woogloo team spread around New Zealand and offshore. In addition he is assisted by the consultancy services of David & Ingrid Alve - graphical and multi-media design; and Gordon Alve - audio-visual services.

Terry lives with Margaret in Tawa, Wellington, N.Z. He works full time with Value Websites from his home office, while continuing a spiritual mentoring ministry practice, having been an ordained Anglican minister since 1980.

He pursues a wide range of interests which now include (since April 2009) being grandfather to Elijah with whom he currently lives. He tramps in the Wellington hills including the Tararua and Rimutaka Ranges and the Orongorongo, Belmont and Western Tawa Hills (around Colonial Knob), often with his black Labrador dog Micah.  Daily newspaper word puzzles, delving into family history (he published in 1994) and dining out are amongst his other pursuits.
